Hey there! Thank you for visiting my website. I’m San Veliz (they/them), a photographer, writer and musician based in Toronto.
I began my photography career in 2019, photographing within the Toronto comedy community. Since then, some of my work has been featured in The Globe and Mail and NOW Toronto for Second City, and the Toronto Guardian. 2023 was a fun packed year having had the opportunity to photograph Toronto Pride, FanExpo Canada and Just for Laughs Toronto and Be Our Guest NYC.
At the start of 2024, I was able to take a leap into the concert photography world through the publication – Musik Mirage. I’m so grateful for every opportunity given.
I’m a graduate from Seneca College with a diploma in Journalism. I’ve also obtained certificates in Copywriting from the University of Toronto and Screenwriting from George Brown College. My writing journey continues through concert reviews.
If I’m not photographing, you can catch me playing bass in My Chemical NoPants. Toronto’s premier My Chemical Romance cover band!
